Getting Started / Smart Devices

Smart Devices

Every Smart Switch, Smart Alarm, and Storage Monitor you've paired shows up live in the Devices tab: the same three device types Rust+ itself supports.

Smart Switches

Toggle on/off directly from the Devices tab, or bind a hotkey to a specific switch so you can flip it without even opening the dashboard. Switches also work as automation actions, have a trigger turn one on or off automatically.

Smart Alarms

Rustomat sees an alarm the instant it triggers, no need to be looking at your phone. Wire it into an automation as a trigger (e.g. "if all teammates offline, send a Discord alert") instead of just watching for the HUD notification.

Storage Monitors

Live capacity and contents, so you know a box is filling up (or a raid emptied one) without opening it in-game. Capacity thresholds can drive automations the same way an alarm does.

Hotkeys

Any device can get its own keybind from the Devices tab, on top of the global panel/console hotkeys covered in Settings & Hotkeys, useful for a switch you toggle often enough that opening the dashboard each time is friction.
