Rules

The short, practical version. The full legal version lives in our Terms of Service, this page is what actually gets enforced day to day.

Accounts

• One account per person. Don't share your login, your API key, or your Rust+ pairing credentials with anyone else.
• Don't create a second account to get around a mute, ban, or the Free-tier limits.
• You're responsible for anything that happens under your account, so keep your credentials to yourself.

Fair use of Rust+

• Rustomat only does what the official Rust+ app can already do, faster and on your screen instead of your phone. Don't use it, or try to modify it, to do anything Rust+ itself doesn't allow.
• Don't use Rustomat in a way that would violate Rust's own rules or get you banned by Facepunch or EAC, that's on you either way, but it's also grounds for us to act on our end.
• Don't try to bypass Free/Power tier restrictions other than by actually upgrading.

Payments

• Don't abuse coupon codes, that includes sharing single-use codes meant for one person, or trying to redeem the same code on multiple accounts.
• If a trade or purchase actually goes through, don't file a chargeback instead of contacting us first. We're generally reasonable about mistakes, we're not reasonable about being scammed.

Community conduct

• Be someone people want to help. No harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse, in Discord, in support tickets, or anywhere else tied to Rustomat.
• No illegal content, no spam, no using Rustomat's Discord webhook integration to blast anyone with unwanted messages.
• Found a real bug or security issue? Tell us before you tell the internet. We're not going to punish someone for a good-faith report, quite the opposite.

How enforcement actually works

Depending on what happened, staff can apply one of a few things to an account: a temporary or permanent chat/communication mute, a temporary or permanent ban, or a full account disable for serious cases (payment fraud, security abuse, that tier of thing). Where reasonable, we'll tell you why. If you think a decision was a mistake, you can appeal it, contact us at admin@rustomat.net or through Discord and we'll take another look.
